We are now looking for an Orthopedic Engineer to join ForMotion in Växjö/Ljungby. We are part of Region Kronoberg, which currently consists of approximately 16 employees. Through our agreement with Region Kronoberg, we provide orthopedic technical services to the residents of the county. At the clinic in Växjö, we also run a retail operation aimed at the growing privately funded healthcare sector, where we offer shoes, insoles, and orthoses.

Your responsibilities

As an orthopedic engineer, you will assist patients with analysis, adaptation, and prescription of orthopedic technical aids focused on prosthetics. A common feature of all our units in the region is that orthopedic care is conducted in close collaboration with specialized care and primary care. In patient work, you will be part of a team with doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will be offered a varied job where the use of modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily work.

Who you are

• Qualified orthopedic engineer
• Language skills in Swedish and good knowledge of English
• Good computer skills
• Experience working clinically with patients is an advantage

The employment

Full-time, permanent. A 6-month probation period applies. Start date according to agreement. We have a collective agreement.
